Sabine von Bassewitz

Sabine von Bassewitz is a photographer specializing in people, portrait, and documentary photography. Alongside her photographic practice, she has worked as a freelance art director, including a period from 2002 to 2004 aboard the MS EUROPA, traveling worldwide while developing visual concepts and creative projects.

Portrait, People, and Story

Sabine studied Communication Design with a focus on Photography and Editorial Design at HAW Hamburg under Ute Mahler, Vincent Kohlbecher, and Welfhard Kraiker. Her thesis project Unisono (2006) has been widely published, awarded, and exhibited both nationally and internationally. Today, she also works as a prompt artist, creating AI-generated images with a photographic, documentary-inspired aesthetic.
